WHAT IS OIL CRUSHER 4.0

OIL CRUSHER 4.0 is an integrated system for the control and automation of olive oil production. It is a system that can be applied to any mill, both old and new, and makes it possible to make olive processing a process that can be parameterised, repeatable, historicised and traceable at every stage.
With the use of OIL CRUSHER 4.0 it is possible to set the entire mill, or part of it, to perform the best processing for any type of olive according to the quantity, degree of ripeness, temperatures involved and the production volumes to be obtained.
The entire system is based on the recipe concept.

A recipe represents the set of parameters to be set for all machines in order to obtain the desired processing. By creating and reusing memorised recipes, it will be possible to process the same olives, of the same type or from the same customer, in a homogeneous manner, thus guaranteeing the highest degree of quality on a consistent basis.

The integrated OIL CRUSHER 4.0 system consists of 3 parts

An electrical cabinet

It contains all the necessary power and control circuits to enable flexible, parameterisable and automatic command and control of machines. Typically the switchboard, in addition to the normal protection and control circuits, contains PLCs, inverters, data acquisition cards, interface cards and communication cards. For new realisations, switchboards are supplied already prepared and complete with all the necessary equipment, while in the case of existing installations, it is possible to modify the switchboards to make them suitable for the application, with lower costs.

It represents the entire set of physical connections between the electrical cabinet and the machine. In order to make the crusher fully controllable via OIL CRUSHER 4.0If not present, sensors of various types must be installed: temperature, position, level, pressure. All these sensors and their actuators will then be intelligently managed by the management and automation software.

Together with the PLC inside the control cabinet and with which communication takes place via network protocols, the management software represents the intelligent part of OIL CRUSHER 4.0. Developed entirely with the latest software technologies, through simple and intuitive graphic pages it is possible to view the status of the plant, create new recipes, manage all parts of the process, monitor and display alarms, call up production reports and print them.
